But you might be a little disappointed if you expect this tool to heat up its own water. Despite its name being the Bissell ProHeat, this carpet cleaner doesn`t actually heat up the water it uses to clean your floors.
The ProHeat® Carpet Cleaner has a built-in heater to heat tap water up to 25 degrees hotter for optimum cleaning.
Remove deep down pet messes with BISSELL® ProHeat® Pet Advanced Upright Carpet Cleaner. This machine features a six-row DirtLifter® PowerBrush and powerful suction to remove embedded dirt. Spot cleaning stains is easy with the included ready-to-use hose and tools.
Some BISSELL Carpet Cleaners also use HeatWave technology to keep the water hot throughout the cleaning process. HeatWave Technology means that the heat that is generated by the motor gets redirected to underneath the water tank.
The BISSELL ProHeat® and ProHeat 2X® series feature built-in heaters that heat hot tap water up to 25 degrees hotter for maximum cleaning effectiveness.
We recommend cleaning the same area once with the trigger pressed down, and once with your hand off the trigger. This way, you are spraying the solution into the carpet and then allowing extra suction to pull it up. The brush rolls are scrubbing out the dirt and stains the entire time.
Fill clean water tank with warm tap water. This machine uses HeatWave Technology™ which helps maintain consistent water temperature throughout the cleaning process by redirecting the heat of the motor to help maintain the temperature of the water.
Bissell Little Green ProHeat Machine – Portable Carpet & Upholstery Steam Cleaner.
BISSELL steam cleaners, like PowerFresh® Deluxe can heat up in as little as 30 seconds and only require you to fill up the tank with water (there`s no formula to mix)! *Using the microfiber pad on hard floors, use as instructed.
On the average, it will take approximately 2-4 hours for carpet and upholstery to dry after being carpet cleaned. To expedite the drying process, you will want to use a fan and increase your air circulation.
The BISSELL® CrossWave® Pet Pro Plus is safe for tile, sealed wood floors, linoleum, laminate, rubber floor mats, area rugs, pressed wood floors, carpet and more.
A: BISSELL ProHeat 2X models all feature a patented built-in heater which will heat the hot tap water you put in up to 25 degrees hotter to safely optimize cleaning effectiveness. The heater will never allow the temperature to exceed 190 degrees. Helpful?
Your dirty water tank may not be secured tightly. Check the rubber tab on the dirty water tank and press firmly on all edges to secure it tightly. The accessory hose door also needs to be closed securely. Check the door and make sure it is locked in place.
A: Good question. This model doesn`t have a built in heater. Heatwave Technology helps maintain the water temperature throughout the cleaning process as you loosen and remove tough stains.

A: Yes, you can leave clean formula/water in the tank when not in use.

Using the marks on the inside of the formula cap, add 7 oz of BISSELL 2X formula to tank. Add water to the tank until you reach the original formula fill line. The next time you fill your tank, use the new fill lines instead of measuring the formula. For more help, download a template.
Most carpet cleaning pros say they use a range of 100-400 psi for regular carpeting, but some use a psi as high as 500 for standard jobs. For more delicate fabrics, such as thinning cotton or nylon, you may need to go as low as 50 psi.
Heat reduces the surface tension of water, enabling faster, more efficient cleaning than with cold water.
It`s an effective way to clean carpets, and it`s also safe for most carpets. Hot water extraction is also great for sanitizing carpets, as the hot water kills germs and bacteria. So if you`re looking for a safe, effective way to clean your carpets, hot water extraction is the way.
You can try using 1 cup of white vinegar in your Bissell Spot Cleaner. Pour in the Vinegar, then fill the rest of the Bissell Spot Cleaner tank with hot tap water. Just be sure to follow normal safety guidelines that go with using vinegar as a cleaner.
Can I use cleaning formulas other than the BISSELL brand? It`s possible to use others, but we recommend against it. Our formulas contain no dyes, phosphates or optical brighteners, and will produce optimal cleaning performance when used in combination with BISSELL carpet cleaning machines.
You don`t have to use the Bissell solution, but it is optimized for use in their machines. This means it won`t streak, leave residue, need to be rinsed, or leave buildup in your machine.

I have a new Hoover Dual V steam vac that I bought from a neighbor who only used it once. I have only used it once since then and it worked great. This time, because I am pregnant, I bought some non-toxic cleaner that was much thicker than the very watery Hoover soap. This vac has a wash option and a rinse option. The rinse option works (sprays and sucks properly), but the wash cycle doesn’t at all-neither soap nor water comes out. Nothing comes out, but it still sucks. I took everything o

My hoover floormate h3060 has not been used for some time, when I went to use it, it would not dispense the cleaner..The last time I used it, I used a mixture of amonia and borax. I think the hose is clogged. What should I do??
ANSWER : You most likely have either a clogged screen at the bottom of the fill tank or the jets that spray fluid are clogged. You can unscrew them and power a paper clip through them. If the hoses are by chance clogged which doesn’t happen often, Pull one off at a time and blow real hard to unclog, then put it back on, then move to next hose.
Do NOT take all of them apart at the same time or they can get mixed up and it’s a pain to figure out how it all went back together.
