Vacuums\015 I have an original electrolux 725 vacuum which was great up until a year ago. I had the cord fixed because it had pulled out too far and at the time the guy said something about the ball bearings. I didn’t understand at the time that I would have to replace the motor soon. It did blow up a month or so later so I had the guy put in a new motor. It had a 12 month warranty and true to form, at 13 months I decided to use a powerhead for hair in the carpet and the motor blew up and at the same time blew the fuse in my flat. Are the new motors just not as good as the originals (always seems to be the way) since the original worked for 25years without a problem then a new motor lasted just over a year or is there a good quality motor I can have fitted and if so, how much should it cost and where can I get it done? (i live on the gold coast) I love the old 725 but this is a pain!\015
How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?
Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced Vacuum Technicians :
Give floors a good wash or steam once every couple of weeks, says Tetro. You might want to wash your kitchen floors a little more often, due to food bacteria that can spread around.
There are two types of vacuum breakers: the atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) and the pressure vacuum breaker assembly (PVBA). The Water Bureau doesn`t allow either the AVB or PVBA to be used for backflow protection.
The most common cause of a tripped circuit breaker is an overload in that circuit. Each circuit is only intended to carry a certain electrical load, and if it exceeds this load, it will cause the breaker to trip.
In most cases it is in the driver`s side footwell underneath the dashboard. There may also be a second fuse box under the hood. Consult your owner`s manual for the exact location of each.
