Bissell Lift-Off(R) Revolution(R) Turbo Upright Vacuum\015 My bissell is vacuuming but it does not go into the collector, it is getting jammed where the motor would be at. You cannot use the attachment hose because it is not sucking through there and the unit is getting overheaded all the time,. Any suggestions on how to clean that or what the problem is.\015

Upright vacuum with Lift-Off Technology features an easy-release portable vacuum for stairs and more! Smart flow-through design ensures the most direct air path for strong suction power. No loss of suction* and bare floor switch for a complete clean on multiple surfaces.
According to our tests, the Shark Vertex Powered Lift-Away Vacuum is the easiest upright model to push, even on medium- and high-pile carpet. We also found the Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Reach Vacuum Cleaner easy to maneuver on flat surfaces, though it was a little cumbersome when cleaning stairs.
The most common cause of loss of suction is that the filters have become blocked. They may require cleaning or replacing. Another cause could be that the vacuum cleaner hose is blocked.
The BISSELL® CleanView® Lift-Off® Pet Vacuum is a 2-in-1 vacuum with Lift-Off® Technology allowing it to clean where other vacuums can`t. You also get the powerful clean of a full-size upright vacuum and convenient cleaning of an easy-release portable vacuum.
When looking for a cordless model, choosing a stick vacuum is better since they lack power but make up for it with maneuverability. An upright vacuum cleaner is the best choice if you need powerful suction for deep-cleaning carpets and similar jobs.
Lift On, Lift Off is a type of cargo vessel with onboard cranes used for loading and off loading goods without the need for or support with external cranes.
Cylinder vacuums are typically more powerful and have a larger dust capacity, so need emptying less frequently. They also have a larger cleaning radius — the length of the cord — than upright vacuums. That`s why you`ll find the professionals use this type of vacuum cleaner in offices and hotels.
One of the easiest ways to increase vacuum cleaner suction is to empty the dust bag or container. Dust containers need to have enough space for airflow, otherwise, they could get clogged and have less suction power. Regularly check your dust compartment and empty or change it when it`s already 70-80% full.
Often when your machine is not picking up it is due to loss of suction. If your vacuum cleaner turns on but won`t pick up on carpet or bare floors, something is impeding suction. You may need to change the vacuum bag, unclog the hose, replace/clean the filters, replace the hose, change the belt, or repair the motor.
The BISSELL performs better on all surface types, and it has an alternative configuration for cleaning harder-to-reach places. However, the Hoover has better storing capabilities, a longer range, and virtually no recurring costs. It`s also significantly easier to maintain.
You also have to swap between two different brushes depending on whether you use it on carpet or bare floor. It takes four hours to recharge—longer than most other models—and doesn`t stand up on its own. Dyson covers it with a two-year warranty.
Stick vacuums are really easy to use
If it`s cordless, even better as you can clean until the battery dies without having to find a plug for it. Though that also means they only run for a limited period of time, which makes them difficult for whole-home clean-up.
The main benefit of lift-off is the ability to pattern a wide variety of materials, especially inert and hard to etch metals. It also avoids damage and compatibility issues that can arise with etching.

Dirt devil vacuum cleaner–trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting –is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor, not contacting the carpeting?? I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting. Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up –unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum… Do I need or can I replace the spinning brush on the bottom of the vacuum so it kicks up and vacuums
Try replacing the belt. Rubber belts stretch out after about a year.
I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.
Vacuums but doesn’t go into the collector
Duh…I took mine apart completely, put it back together and nothing is getting thru. ridiculous
Beater bar doesn’t go around when vacuuming carpet. It does go around if I tilt the vacuum up, so it’s not the belt.
Try getting a new belt
Infinity Vaccum by Shark, model number NV31COS, will not start. The vacuum was running just fine until it grabbed the edge of a curtain. Turned it off to release the suction. Turned it back on and was working fine. About a minute later the vacuum was making an odd noise. Every 2 seconds or so it would “heave” (lack of a better word) then go away, then come back and so on. Turned the vacuum off and checked for blockage, none that could be seen or felt, and now the vacuum won’t turn. Any suggestio
Carpet brush won’t turn when vac on
I have a Kirby G4 Vacuum Cleaner – MOdel G4 D. I have never had any problems or repairs done to it in the past ten plus years that I’ve had it. This is an upright vacuum. I was vacuuming the carpet floor and was not having any trouble at all. I switched the vacuum off and moved it into a different room. When I tried to turn on the vacuum, it would not turn on. I checked with different outlets, used both front attachment and hose attachment. Checked the front part of the motor/ spiral case. This
I have a Eureka Boss Power Plus and the beater bar is rolling, the belt is turning, but after vacuuming up around the litter box (not a lot of litter), when I turn the vacuum off, the litter, or even household dirt, falls out. When I hold the vacuum back to turn it off so that it doesn’t fall on the floor, it’s sitting in the cubby where the wheels are. The bag is empty, the hose is not plugged, the hose is securely fitted on both ends of the unit. This vacuum was purchased in July and is being
Even though the brush is spinning, you probably need to replace the belt
because it is stretched. It is probably slipping on the beater bar. This is normal and you shouldn’t be alarmed. There is nothing wrong with your vacuum. 🙂
I have a Simplicity S24 canister vacuum. It’s about 3 yrs. old. In the past year I have had it in the shop 4 times because when using the rug piece, the piece turns on & off, on & off. The actual vacuum doesn’t… just the rug piece. I recently spent $65 on a new part, after spending countless dollars the other 3 times it was in the shop for this problem. I’m ready to buy another name vacuum altogether as I feel this vacuum is not worth the money that was spent on it. I’m very frustrated.
Repair shop has not fixed the problem? complain until they fix it properly. This is a pressure fault / jamming issue or slipping drive. Repair shop should have fixed it 1st time.
