How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?

Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced Vacuum Technicians :

Your dirty water tank may not be secured tightly. Check the rubber tab on the dirty water tank and press firmly on all edges to secure it tightly. The accessory hose door also needs to be closed securely. Check the door and make sure it is locked in place.
If the float is low in the tank, the tank won`t fill. If there is no water flow or slow water flow into the tank after a flush, either the float valve is clogging or there is a clog in the water pipe leading to the toilet.
Yes, you should keep cleaning the carpet until the water is clear. This will ensure that your carpets are clean and free of dirt, dust, and other allergens. However, you should be careful not to scrub too hard or use too much water. Doing so can damage the carpet and lead to more stains in the future.
Carpets that still look dirty or have stains reappear after cleaning is a result of something called wicking. This is due to over wetting the carpet, the backing, and pad which causes them to return back to the surface once dry.
If your tank is too small, the fish will be stressed and the tank will get dirty much faster. Your tank should not be overly large, however, or the fish will be uncomfortable and it will be much more space to keep clean.
Check for Any Leaks

Arguably the most common cause of your water heater refusing to fill is a leak somewhere in the tank or its connected pipes. First, check around your tank for any puddles or excessive liquid. This would indicate that there is likely a leak somewhere in the bottom of the water heater tank (source).

We do not recommend leaving dirty water in the cleaner.
The most effective and effortless way to get rid of Green Water is to install an Ultra-violet Sterilizer on your aquarium. As water passes through the UV chamber, suspended algae are eliminated, along with many disease-causing organisms. The result is crystal clear water in a matter of days.
Can you use vinegar in the water tank? Bissell does not recommend using vinegar in the Little Green machine (along with these other areas unsafe for vinegar), as the acidity can potentially damage its components.
After you get out your carpet cleaner, fill the clean tank to the line with hot (not boiling) tap water. Hot water does a better job cleaning than cold but, if you boil it, you run the risk of melting parts of your carpet cleaner.
It`s an effective way to clean carpets, and it`s also safe for most carpets. Hot water extraction is also great for sanitizing carpets, as the hot water kills germs and bacteria. So if you`re looking for a safe, effective way to clean your carpets, hot water extraction is the way.
Therefore, to clean up those muddy messes or spilled Kool-Aid, you need to vacuum at least every few days, if not daily. Shampoo or steam clean your carpets at least every 6 months and consider having a professional cleaning service come in every 12-18 months to make sure your carpets stay fresh.
Cleaning can sometimes remedy these situations, but it`s best for us to take a look and give advice from there. Age: If carpet is more than 12-15 years old, and hasn`t been professionally cleaned at regular intervals, it most likely will need replacing.
Fish tanks turn green with algae, which need light, water and nutrients to grow. Algae spores are airborne, so even if you start off with brand new everything, coldwater, tropical or marine, your tank will go green.
Depending on how many fish you have, and how messy they are, most tanks require cleaning about once every two weeks. Cleaning should involve: ✔ Siphoning the gravel to remove any debris and uneaten food, and changing about 10-15% of the water.
Average Water Heater Recovery Times

60-70 minutes (for a gas tank water heater) 120 minutes (for an electric tank water heater)

How long the water heater takes to fill up again will depend on how big the tank is. It will take about 20-30 minutes for a 40-gallon water tank to fill up. Meanwhile, an 80-gallon tank takes about 30-40 minutes to fill up.
SIPHONING WATER STORAGE TANK

Siphoning is simply the process of sucking elements out of your tank and into a new container. This is an effective way of taking out all the debris at the bottom of your tank without having to run off your taps.

You can also clean the water tank using cleaning vinegar. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and algae. You follow the same procedure as bleach. For a tank of 100 litres of water, you`ll need one litre of cleaning vinegar.
Expand. BISSELL Big Green carpet cleaner rental does not have a heating element. Use hot tap water in the tank for the best cleaning results. Never boil or microwave the water to make it hotter.
On the average, it will take approximately 2-4 hours for carpet and upholstery to dry after being carpet cleaned. To expedite the drying process, you will want to use a fan and increase your air circulation.
Causes of Algae in Aquariums

Too much light or too many nutrients in the water will cause algae to grow rapidly. If you experience algae overgrowth, it could be caused by: Leaving house lights on too long. The tank receiving too much direct sunlight.

Green aquarium water is not considered dangerous to fish. In fact, many fish happily live in green-colored water in their natural environment. The same goes for plants. While the algae that makes up green aquarium water feeds on many of the same nutrients that your plants do, it shouldn`t cause any direct harm.
Green coloured algae are the most common type. These indicate good water quality. Green algae are considered as “good” algae but their growth should be kept under control so they won`t deprive the fish of nutrients. Some aquarists let green algae thrive to serve as a dietary source for their fish.
