Check that the vacuum cleaner is plugged into a working power outlet and that fuses and breakers don`t need resetting. An activated thermal cut-out due to a blockage is the next most likely cause of the problem. Check for blockages in the hose and filters, and remove any obstructions that you find.
The device is not correctly positioned in the charging station. The charging plug is not connected. Incorrect suction cup connected or no suction cup connected (some models) To protect the battery and electronics, the charging function is deactivated if the ambient temperature is below 5 ° C or above 35 ° C.
Remove the brushroll and clean all hair, string, and lint from the brushroll bearings. If the vacuum cleaner brush still doesn`t spin after you clean the brushroll, consider replacing the brushroll.
The most common problems found in vacuum cleaners are low suction force, excessive noise, burning smell, vacuum not turn on, and overheating. These issues can be fixed by either cleaning the device or replacing some parts of the device. At times, it is best to seek a professional to fix the cleaner effectively.
The problem may lie in your vacuum cleaner`s adapter, charging dock, or battery and the electrical outlet. Try plugging your vacuum cleaner in to another outlet. If it is now working, the problem was in the first outlet that you have used. You should contact a certified electrician if you need to fix that outlet.
Your charging cable could be loose, unplugged, or damaged. Your charging cable could have a weak connection because it wasn`t made by your laptop`s manufacturer. Your charging ports could be clogged with dirt or debris that is keeping it from powering up properly.
If the vacuum cleaner stops suddenly, the filters should be checked to make sure that they are not blocked or that they require changing. This applies to both bagged and bagless models. Also check if the nozzle or hose are blocked.
One of the most common reasons a washer won`t spin clothes is an imbalanced wash load. To protect against damage, a spin cycle won`t engage when your machine senses an unbalanced load. If there are too few items in the washer or if it`s overloaded, the load will be unstable, and the spin cycle won`t start.
If your vacuum cleaner has lost suction power, it`s time to empty the container. Vacuum cleaners come with various foam or mesh filters. These might get clogged over time if not cleaned or replaced properly. This will cause your vacuum to lose suction.
If all you hear from the vacuum unit is a click at the when you try to start the vacuum motor from inside the house, then the motor in the unit is dead and has to be replaced. A strong odor from the shellac, which coats the copper coil windings, is an indicator that the motor is about to or has burnt out.
The average life expectancy of a mid-range vacuum cleaner is about six years. You can fix or replace things like blocked filters, jammed brush rolls, frayed hoses, worn-out stick vac batteries and broken accessories yourself.
The roller brush in your stick vacuum can become clogged or tangled with hair and other debris. If not cleaned regularly damage can be caused to the motor of the vacuum head. If your roller is not spinning, the first step is to remove the roller and free any debris.
The BMS doesn`t only consist of the actual battery but also the circuitry and other components; together, they ensure the right range of voltage and current reaches the battery for a duration of time. So, in that respect, you can`t overcharge your handphone or vacuum cleaner.
Their batteries typically last 30 to 40 minutes on a full charge, enough to clean a room or two but unlikely to tackle your whole home top to bottom. Cordless stick vacuums also have a shorter life expectancy than good plug-in vacuums. For most people, a cordless stick vac should be a sidekick to a plug-in vacuum.
To fix a Windows PC that won`t turn on, first try ruling out a faulty power supply or outlet. You can also try checking for beep codes, display issues, unusual BIOS settings, or troubleshoot the PC in Safe Mode. Other fixes include disconnecting non-essential devices and checking for loose components and malware.
It`s important to fully charge the machine before using it for the first time, and after every clean. This helps to improve the algorithm`s accuracy. The battery is designed to be left on charge permanently, and this will ensure that the vacuum is fully charged when it`s next used.
Inside of the Electrolux Ergorapido vacuum is a 10.8V lithium ion battery. Although this is at the lower end of the Ergorapido line, the battery is able to charge fully in about 4 hours and offers a run time up to 21 minutes.
Blown Dryer Thermal Fuse

If your Electrolux dryer clicks but won`t start the thermal fuse may have blown. This fuse acts as a safety device that blows when the dryer is in danger of overheating, cutting off power. The dryer will continue to make a clicking sound without turning on until the thermal fuse is replaced.

If there is something that has become caught in the hose in another part of the system, the airflow will be reduced and can cause overheating and a shut down. Clear out hoses, attachments, and brushes of any hair, dirt, and debris. This will allow for restored airflow and should get things going again.

The filter assembly is not washable and should be placed every six months. As with the canisters and uprights, an excessively dirty filter leads to motor noise, loss of suction, and overheating.

The most common problem with a vacuum cleaner is also the easiest to remedy: clogs in the hose or attachments. Also the electrical cord, motor, switch, fan, brushes, and motor bearings can all need repair or replacement. The drive belt may need replacing; and the attachments, hoses, and filters may need unclogging.
Make sure that you`re using no more than the recommended dose. The spinning cycle won`t start if the water hasn`t drained completely. Turn off your washing machine and check the drain hose and the pump filter. The hose shouldn`t be bent or clogged.
Replace or readjust the drive belt.

If your washing machine is not spinning but is making noise, a broken drive belt, or a drive belt that has slipped off the pulley wheel, might be the culprit. To determine if this is the case, remove the back of the washer and visually check to see if the belt is still on the pulley.

Putting in the incorrect amount of oil, putting in the wrong type of oil, and oil contamination can all cause the pump to not reach full vacuum. For this reason, you must check the oil regularly to ensure that it is not only clean, but also properly filled.

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
ANSWER : If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.

Electrolux Epic 6500SR Full Bag sensor working, Does not Reset properly
ANSWER : The problem was a sticking switch that was not being reset. The vacuum on/off switch mechanism is comprised of two switches. One is the main switch that turns the vacuum on and off. The second is a shut off switch that gets tripped when the full bag sensor is engaged. This second switch is supposed to get reset when you push the on/off switch on the outside of the machine. The full bag shutoff switch was stiff and it, therefore, was taking a couple of presses of the on/off switch to move the shutoff switch back into the running position.
