Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. On my M&S Air Vac AV425 central vaccuum system, the system usually turns on by inserting the vaccuum hose into one of the vaccuum outlets. However, it now runs continuously. ANSWER : Did you replace the hepa filter with a new one? Those filters may not look bad, but after a period of time and use, air is restricted thru them. They should be changed at least once per year.

No Suction The suction of the vaccuum has stopped. We haven’t had the vaccuum for very long and the bag has been recently changed. Both the floor vaccuum and the hose are not picking anything up. I’m not sure what the problem could be.

ANSWER : Unless you can Dyson to intervene and have this repair covered under their warranty, You are stuck to pay for the service. Clogs may not be covered under warranty, but I don’t know how their warranty states. If it says that if you have a problem, take it in for repair, and it will be repaired to the orginal state, then a clog should be covered. But some shops will charge an adminstration type fee even if it is under warranty as the warranty doesn’t pay hardly anything.
