Locate the brush reset button on the lower back right of the vacuum. Press the button to reset the brushroll To ensure the brush has been reset, plug the vacuum back into the electrical outlet.

There could be several factors as to why your BISSELL PowerFresh steam mop is not producing steam. First, check to make sure the unit is plugged in and is in a working outlet. Next, check to make sure there is water in the tank. It is very important to make sure you are ONLY using water to fill the tank.

If your machine turns off automatically again, unplug your machine and remove the nozzle. Hold the tab on the brush roll and spin the other end. Check the drive gear where the brush roll goes into the foot of the machine and remove any debris that may be wrapped in that area. Turn the gear by hand to see if it spins.

Check that the vacuum cleaner is plugged into a working power outlet and that fuses and breakers don`t need resetting. An activated thermal cut-out due to a blockage is the next most likely cause of the problem. Check for blockages in the hose and filters, and remove any obstructions that you find.

The most common problem with a vacuum cleaner is also the easiest to remedy: clogs in the hose or attachments. Also the electrical cord, motor, switch, fan, brushes, and motor bearings can all need repair or replacement. The drive belt may need replacing; and the attachments, hoses, and filters may need unclogging.

The suction power is measured in Watt (W) and is typically between 250 W and 450 W for machines with 1 motor. The suction power is to be measured at the end of the tube of a complete vacuum cleaner (i.e. with tube, hose and filters – but without nozzle).

The standard solution is fine for most cleaning.

But for routine carpet cleaning, specialty formulas and spot-stain removers aren`t necessary. Save the specialized solutions for stubborn stains, like a pet mess.

The female part of the catch which holds the lid to the accessories compartment closed has broken. This forms part of the handle to the vacuum cleaner.We’ve had the vacuum for less than a year but cant find the receipt so i think i will just have to pay for the parts. The water dispenser must have been left plugged in and the hot water switch on without any water bottle on the unit because a plastic part inside got warped and now the unit tries to heat the whole 5 gallon jug of water. I want to replace the inside plastic part but I don’t have the manual and don’t know which part no. to request or where to send my request for parts.

Parts Hi I have the Eurkea steam cleaner model 2450 and was wondering how do you take the front part off where you can see the water sucking up from carpet so this can be cleaned. Also I think the spring in the part that holds the water has come off another part is this able to be fixed or can I just purchase a new water holding tank and if so where?

Parts replacement We have a Hoover Steam Vac that has a broken part #10 in your picture or Part # 37271035. Does this part cover the whole top section of the Vac? Is it hard to replace? Where can you get the best prices on Hoover parts? I have been on Hoovers website and they don’t even recognize this Steam Vac. which is hard to believe they don’t even recognize their own unit?
