ANSWER : The height adjust mech. has 2 tabs, that you have to unlock, It also is easier when you tip the power head so as not to puit pressure on the Ht. Adj. wheels. Use a flat blade screwdriver and if you look down bertween the ht. adj. mech. and the elboe where the wire is, you should be able to see the 2 tabs, just pry it away form the elbow and it will come off. When you put it back on, make sure all wires are routed where they were and tip powerhead, it will snap into place.

The power brush floor rug attachment on my Eureka 6997 A Oxygen Canister Vacuum goes on an off as I use it. I replaced the The power cord from the handle has 2 plug in connections:

ANSWER : This is from the prongs not making a good connection causing an arch inside the plugg causing what looks like rust on the plugg. I would try snugging up the connection by squeezing the female section to get a better connection on the prongs when it is plugged in together.

ANSWER : FIRST OFF EACH OF YOU HAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MACHINE. ESPECIALLY THE OXYGEN WHICH IS MADE BY THE “NEW” ELECTROLUX. THE OTHER TWO ARE MADE BY THE “OLD” ELECTROLUX WHICH IN NOW CALLED AERUS. THE ADVICE WITH THE GUARDIAN TO GET IT SERVICED BY THE DEALER SINCE THE POWER NOZZLE IS PROBABLY STILL UNDER WARRANTY IS A GOOD IDEA. (THE 25 YR.
